If the operation of the device somehow got completely confused, an incorrect control surface (PANEL) was programmed.
APACHE = Operation via the rotary controls, but with a front panel without station buttons.
GRANDPRIX = Operation via the buttons and rockers on the GrandPrix front.
NORMAL = operation via the rotary controls and front panel with station buttons. This is the standard setting that is designed for most panels (incl. Redondo "S").
REDONDO = Operation via the thumb rolls (especially for Mopar vehicles - Redondo "T").
To reprogram, please set the ignition ON / radio OFF state.
For rotary controls (all except GRANDPRIX and REDONDO T with thumb rolls): turn the rear left (top) knob to the left (counterclockwise) and hold there for about 15 seconds until SEL PANEL appears on the display. Then switch to APACHE or NORMAL by briefly turning to the left. Leave the device alone and wait for the clock to appear again. The device can now be operated using the rotary controls.
For GrandPrix: press and hold the ON/OFF button for approx. 15 seconds until SEL PANEL is displayed. Then switch to GRANDPRIX by briefly pressing the ON/OFF button. Leave the device alone and wait for the clock to appear again. The device can now be operated using the buttons and rockers on the GrandPrix front.
For the thumb rolls on the Redondo T: turn the left inner thumb roll downwards and hold it there for about 15 seconds until SEL PANEL appears on the display. Then switch to REDONDO by briefly turning down. Leave the device alone and wait for the clock to appear again. Now the device can be operated via the thumb rolls for Mopar vehicles.
